20km northwest of Jacobsdal. The battlefield and a number of memorial sites were declared national monuments.
Many authentic Karoo style houses line the streets while monuments depict the difficult times in the history of the town.

The building was erected in 1901 and the museum displays century old clothing and other articles from years gone by.
