MAROELA SATELLITE CAMP
A satellite camp is managed from a main camp / gate. There are no shop or restaurant facilities available.
Maroela Camp is a small satellite camp in the central region of the Kruger National Park, situated on the banks of the Timbavati River, approximately 2 km from Orpen Main Rest Camp.
This camp is unique in that it is the only camp in the Kruger National Park that only caters for guests with caravans and for campers. There are no other pre-erected accommodation structures in this camp.
Close to the fence, visitors can indulge in watching a variety of animals that visit a small watering hole.
There is also a rustic viewing platform overlooking the Timbavati River.

Accommodation Maroela offers camping facilities only. Residents to check in at Orpen Rest Camp.
Campsites 19 x tent or caravan sites, with power point, communal ablutions and communal kitchen, maximum of 6 persons per site.
